I don’t understand why the automakers don’t just add the additional cost of tariffs to the Monroney sticker as a separate line item so the buyer can make an informed decision on whether or not to buy the vehicle.

We bought a truck from Carvana a little more than 30 days ago. It repeatedly fails state inspection. The previous owner “heavily modified” the vehicle and now it won’t pass state emissions test. The vehicle has federally non-compliant tuning software and is considered tampered, which is a federal violation. Carvana refuses to give me my money back, which is over 60,000.
